Our Story
There Is A Gift In Everything
TIAGIE didn't begin as a business. It began as a change in the way I chose to live.
Where It Began
A Change in What I Was Looking For
TIAGIE didn't begin as a business. It began as a change in the way I chose to live.
There was a period in my life when I realized how much energy I was giving to everything that was wrong. The disappointments. The frustrations. The things I wished had happened differently. It seemed as if the more I looked for what was wrong, the more of it I seemed to find.
So I made a decision. I changed what I was looking for.
My circumstances didn't suddenly become perfect. Life didn't stop bringing heartache, disappointment, loss, or difficult days. What changed was the way I walked through them. I began asking a different question: What is the gift in this?
Sometimes the answer came quickly. Sometimes it took years.
What I Learned
Shaped by the Things I Would Have Erased
Some of the experiences I would have gladly erased from my life were actually shaping me. Like sandpaper against rough wood, they weren't always comfortable — but they were refining me into the person I was supposed to become.
A closed door
Can change our direction.
A disappointment
Can change our priorities.
A loss
Can remind us what matters.
A difficult person
Can teach us patience, boundaries, or grace.
A hard season
Can reveal that we are stronger than we thought we were.
Sometimes we get exactly what we asked for,
just not in the package we expected.
Our story doesn't have to end where something difficult happened.
There may be something being built within us
that we cannot see yet.
TIAGIE.
There Is A Gift In Everything.
Why I Share It
Not a Promise. A Reminder.
For the past several years, I have tried to live this instead of simply saying it. I've watched the idea influence conversations, relationships, and the people around me. Now I want to share it.
Not as a promise that everything will be easy. Not as an invitation to pretend painful things aren't painful. But as a reminder that our story doesn't have to end where something difficult happened.
There may be another path. There may be something to learn. There may be something being built within us that we cannot see yet. TIAGIE is about learning to look for it — day by day, person by person, one gift at a time.
